      The C Programming Refresher Course 2.0 was conducted on 16 August 2025 in the Computer Labs of the Department of Computer Engineering, SVKM IOT, Dhule. The sessions were coordinated by Prof. Kiran Somwanshi and Prof. Khalid Alfatmi, ensuring the curriculum was delivered in an engaging and effective manner. During the event, students refreshed their knowledge of essential programming concepts including data types, control structures, functions, arrays, pointers and file handling.

      The Department of Computer Engineering, in collaboration with the ACM Student Chapter and the Association of Computer Engineering Students, organized this course exclusively for second-year students. The primary objective was to strengthen the foundation of programming while deepening their understanding of C syntax, semantics and logical problem-solving skills.

Learning Outcomes
      The course blended in-depth discussions with practical coding sessions, enabling participants to directly apply theoretical concepts in the lab. With the active support of ACM members and third-year students, participants received one-on-one assistance that helped resolve queries and enhance learning. The interactive approach, supported by quizzes, discussions and real-time problem-solving, created a dynamic and collaborative environment for students.
Management by Coordinators:
      The success of the refresher course can be attributed to the dedicated support of the faculty and the committed efforts of the student coordinators. Guided by Prof. Khalid Alfatmi and Dr. Makarand Shahade, student coordinators Bhagyesh Joshi, Divya Badgujar and Bhumika Jadhav played a vital role in planning, organizing and executing the event seamlessly, ensuring a meaningful experience for all participants.
