Stars, Data, and Algorithms : An Expert Talk

The Department of Computer Engineering at SVKM's Institute of Technology, Dhule, in collaboration with the ACM Student Chapter, successfully organized an expert session titled "Stars, Data, and Algorithms: The Astounding Power of Astrophysical Programming". The session was led by Prof. Venkat Punjabi, a Research Scholar at Universidad de Atacama, Copiapo, Chile, and Director of the Takshashila Physics Academy and Vgyan Hub, Dhule. The event took place on September 9, 2024, at 11:00 AM in the college auditorium. The session provided an in-depth exploration of astrophysics, data science, and algorithmic programming for space research.
